Luxes
Using external AI‑computing–boosted devices is increasingly popular among AI agents, personal AI creators, AI content creators, AI designers, gamers, researchers, professors, and anyone who needs AI integration and computation. Cloud‑based AI solutions cannot fully protect sensitive privacy, often struggle with in-queue problems, and fail to meet the demand for powerful performance in an elegant, user‑friendly, customized form. The Luxes external AI computing booster aims to solve the problems that cloud AI solutions cannot resolve. It combines flexibility and power while saving space, reducing power consumption, and enabling easy customization.
After exploring all available related devices, I was disappointed with the current offerings. They either waste space, deliver poor performance, lack aesthetic appeal, or are overpriced. In the current market, well‑designed cases cost $180 to $400, yet they are too large, heavy, and lack mobility. Cheaper ones are unattractive, low performance; Apple’s Mac Studio is simply too expensive. Why can’t we have a product that integrates everything we want—from minimal space usage to appealing aesthetics, privacy control, and customization capability? This is why I initiated this project.
The Goal of Design is to make a personal AI external computing booster with
the enthuestic look and the best Peerformence. Hence, the Design methonology is orbiting 3 planets: unbelievable small, unleash full power of computing and ultra aesthetic look.
To achieve the unbelievably small size, I reconstructed the entire framework of how people usually design computer cases. First, I positioned the SFX‑standard power supply at the front and rotated it 90 degrees so its width becomes 100 mm; this dramatically reduces the overall width of the case. Thanks to the innovative new power‑supply design, hot air can be discharged through the bottom of the case in the head position. Then, I redesigned the power cable and all electronic connecting wires, ensuring every cable is flattened, which frees significant internal space to accommodate a full‑power GPU. Next, I allocated space for fans to draw in cool air, installing three fans, each capable of pulling ample cool air into the case. All of this results in the entire product being only 7 liters, laying the foundation for the smallest AI external computing booster in the world using a full‑size GPU.
Most of the external computing devices only has very weak perfermence which cannot feed what people needs in the new area of AI. Thanks to my 48G Super Caches design and Thunderbolt 5 120Gbps high seed data transportation, customers now can enjoy the beast perfermencs from the high-end GPU at the first time in a very small artistic case.
The specially design a Golden Triangle Cooling system. This thermal architecture redefine the way that how we think about heat dissipation. By intelligently reshape of using the cooling system of power supplier, I surprisingly archive it and push everything into an extremely small size case.
This is the original point of the design and the answer to my question: why is there still no manufacturer creating truly great‑looking external computing devices? The Luxes has only one drawback: it may distract users from their work, because no one can resist paying extra attention to its stunning aesthetic appeal.
Thanks for reimagining and reinventing all the elements an EAICB truly needs. I eliminated everything unnecessary in building a great external computing device, minimizing every aspect to ensure the casing is neither heavy nor large. The Luxes Model delivers the smallest size and the coolest performance of any full‑size exteral AI local computing devices in the world, coming in at 45% smaller than the Lenovo TGX eGPU (2023 Red Dot Design Award winner).

No matter the workload, no matter the environment, Luxes maintains the same level of precision, reliability, and raw computational strength, ensuring creators, researchers, and professionals always operate at their highest potential.
Killer Swift stands as the largest and heaviest model in our three‑model lineup, engineered for extreme power and the enthusiasts who demand nothing less.
To meet every user’s spatial and technical need, Luxes offers three customizable models covering all GPU sizes — the compact powerhouse Luxes, the balanced and efficient Emma, and the extreme‑performance Killer Swift. Each model embodies precision engineering, modular design, and uncompromising power, ensuring creators, researchers, and professionals operate at their highest potential across every scenario.
Luxes further eliminates the cloud’s chronic “in‑queue” delays by providing dedicated, guaranteed compute that never competes with global traffic. As cloud demand surges, users increasingly face throttled inference speeds, rate limits, and periodic outages. McKinsey projects a 15‑gigawatt U.S. data‑center supply deficit by 2030, worsening cloud congestion, while the 2026 Uptime Institute report shows high‑density AI workloads are straining power grids and elevating systemic outage risks. By processing entirely on‑device, Luxes bypasses congested networks, cloud rationing, and capacity shortages. The result is zero‑wait availability and instant execution—performance the cloud simply cannot guarantee.
